THANX WAYNAL

Holiday Cheer, Montana Style

The Governor of Montana, First Lady Nancy, and their dog Jag wish you a Happy Holidays. Only in Montana would this happen but I kind of like it. Jag has full reign of the capital and it seems he takes full advantage of that by running all over the place.

On a more personal note, last week our neighbors put
up their Christmas decorations (picture on the right).

So of course we had to counter with our rendition of Christmas (picture on the left).

And in case you missed it the
doorhanger rocks!

M'Erica has asked Stanta Claus (genious Beans, genious) to please fill her sweet latch hook stocking that has long been discarded by the Hime family. Sweet Christmas, Sweet Christmas.

The kittles miss all of the roomies from Iowa. They thank C-Dawg for the kickin treads. And I am officially a crazy cat lady.

In fact they are driving us crazy and I am very happy to hand them over to our cat-sitter! Thanks Connie.

So not to worry Bill O'Reily we are just reinventing the holidays, Iowa style.

But really

It's time to celebrate Hanukkah
Don't forget harmonica
On this lovely, lovely Hanukkah
Smoke your marijuana-ka
So drink your gin and tonic-ka
If you really, really, really wanna-ka
Have a happy, happy, happy, happy Hanukkah
Happy Hanukkah

Maxin out the trash

So the Pukemaster and I went thrifting to do a little "happy holiday" shopping today and we had quite the experience. The crazy didn't start until our second stop at the Good Samaritan thrift store. Pukemaster has had his eye on this $65 bearskin rug for the past week or so and when we went to stalk it today there was a father with his two boys touching it. One of the boys were pointing a toy gun at the bear telling it to "put your hands up, pow pow" and the father responding by telling his son not to shoot the dead bear. Then later as we were leaving a mentally challenged boy, who was wearing full fatigues, walked up to the bear and said only one word "dead." He then proceeded to touch it. A LOT.

At the Good Sam we were lucky enough to buy our first piece of living room furniture since moving to Montana. It is a rusty gold patent leather vintage recliner. We drove around the back of the store to load our wonderful purchase and sure enough it wouldn't fit. So the dudes at the store crammed about 1/4 of the chair into the trunk and tied to down. I don't think anyone working there was high on life and to try to remedy the situation Pukemaster offered one of them a cigarette and later we realized that the worker was definitely underage. Ooops!

We then went to Wal Mart to buy some shit, screw around, and people watch. It was at Wal Mart where we exceeded all expectations. We saw the nastiest Santa walking around the store. The look on his face was saying tell me where you live so I can steal your Christmas presents and his beard and mustache were this horrible color of yellow.

On our way out there was this little girl playing with this animated stuffed pony. It was about the size of a real pony and I was admiring the awesomeness of it and thinking of how we needed it for the apartment. The little girl then backhanded it across the face. In the words of Pukemaster "Why is it that when god damned Montanans see an animal they instantly have to kill it?" I don't know lady that is answer left to the gods.

So that is a wrap for Saturday. I will post some sweet pics of our holiday decorations.

Welcome!

So M'Erica and Pukemaster Flex would like to welcome you to our blog. We have decided to start this blog for two main reasons:

1. To document our time spent in Montana
2. To share the crazy life that we lead with everyone not here

Enjoy!
